Who we ARE
The Canberra Rifle Club is a long range target shooting club. The sport is known as Fullbore rifle shooting in Australia.
Canberra Rifle Club Incorporated has registered the business name Australian Capital Territory Full Bore Target Rifle (ACTFBTR) to reflect that it is also the peak body for the sport of Fullbore target rifle shooting in the ACT. We are a member of the National Rifle Association of Australia Ltd – www.nraa.com.au
We shoot most Saturday afternoons, with distances ranging from 300m back to 900m in increments of 100m. We also have a long range rimfire competition, shooting at 100m & 200m.
